Robert founded American Marketing & Publishing, Inc. and began publishing The Virginia Conservative Magazine in 1993 after being appalled by the presidential election of Bill Clinton.   

 

The Virginia Conservative Magazine quickly grew and eventually became a template for a Pennsylvania, Florida, Mississippi, and even California Conservative magazine. 

 

The magazine featured conservative columnists such as Walter Williams, Brett Bozell, Robert Novak, Mona Charen, Thomas Sowell, and cartoonist Bob Gorrell. Over the years, it included exclusive interviews with well-known conservative leaders including Oliver North, NRA vice-president Wayne LaPierre, and Governor George Allen.

Once the magazine started to expand, Robert began providing  Republican candidates and consultants across the nation with exceptional direct mail services.

​

In 1999, Robert worked with the Republican Party of Virginia and played a key role in the historic Republican takeover of the Virginia General Assembly.

​

In 2000 and 2004, he worked on both George W. Bush presidential elections and produced nearly 12 million pieces of mail targeted to conservatives in the 18 battleground states.

​

He has worked extensively with the Republican Party of Virginia, Georgia, and Florida to win numerous state legislative and state senate campaigns.
 

For the past 31 years, Robert has been fortunate to work closely with some of our nation's top political operatives including Ralph Reed, Tim Phillips, Carlyle Gregory, Mike McElwain, John Dowless, and Gary Marx.

In his spare time, Robert enjoys investing in real estate and financial projects, playing drums, and coaching baseball and golf.
